Better tires the OEM ones are shit.The klr is a good cheap, light weight touring bike if you want it to be. There isnt much in the price range with the weather protection, range, and plush ride. Other options are... Vstrom - more street, more weight, more money, stronger motor. Ninja 650 - stronger motor, only street, less weather protection, more money, smaller, less range.
