Rachel Hawes, 44, of Swartz Creek, Michigan, was injured by a metal object that broke off from a train on the Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster at an Ohio amusement park on Aug. 15. She is still in the hospital's ICU with a brain injury and her family asks for privacy. The ride will be closed for the 2021 season as an investigation continues.
